Marithe & Francois Girbaud Opening at 107 New Bond Street

Marithe and Francois Girbaud is a French label I've known for ages. The company is going to be 50 in two years time so we are talking heritage, reliability and a customer army who's been buying from this designer couple through the decades. I've got a dress by them as well, after all these years it is still new and trendy.
I love this dress, it has got a tweed pattern and it is perfect for a great layering. The natural palette will suit everyone and will be sporty with leather brogues or smart with high heel boots or shoes. A very versatile piece that it will never tire.
At the opening of the London flagship store  at 107 New Bond Street, a DJ has been playing fantastic tunes while guests and customers browsed through the rails. After that with a 20% off the prices offered on the night, not many could resist a bit of a shopping spree.
This jacket caught my eyes in the men 's department. I would wear it with no problem at all for a "boyfriend" look and I'm sure that everybody would be very well impressed if their other significant other would wear a number like this.
Drinks, canapes and shopping. The best ingredients for a perfect evening out. The Marithe and Francois Girbaud shop is so warm with wooden floor and wooden shelves. Nothing frilly, very minimalist because the real stars are the garments.
This mini dress is fabulous, a plum coloured tunic with all the seasonal colours in the pattern. Mini dress with chunky tights and flat shoes or maybe worn over a pair of jeans or leggings. Being with short sleeves I would pair it with a roll neck jumper or with a cardigan.

I love openings. I always meet friends, this time Sunita Mukhi handbag designer(check her beautiful arm candy Sunita is holding, it is one of hers) www.sunitamukhi.eu  and Carlotta Gherzi fashion designer, many times with a collection showing at London Fashion Week and now busy with her latest label " My Love My Leggings", for highly sophisticated leggings. In the picture Carlotta is wearing a pair of leather leggings from her latest collection. www.mylovemyleggings.com
This Montgomery style coat is one of those items that should be in anyone 's wardrobe. Never out of fashion, warm, a timeless piece great for a 18years old or for a 60 years old, honestly there is not age boundaries with this coat, teamed up with the right accessories can change the whole look and be adaptable to whoever is wearing it.
Christmas red for the ultimate party look. Add some black and you are ready for any event that will fall on you during this month. You've nailed the festive look, and with these garments it is possible to go from office to club just with a slick of red lipstick.
Marithe and Francois Girbaud is the right stop for both women and men, I am so glad that finally one of their  shops has been opened in London.
