Asli Polat London Fashion Week AW 15/16

I know I'm writing about a show I've seen a couple of months ago, but I did it on purpose. During Fashion Week we are inundated with posts  about all the shows in town and among all of them you might miss some real gems. Asli Polat is one of those gems I wanted to highlight.
Her collection is made of all wearable pieces and a collaboration with the well known German teddy bears company Steiff has made it possible to have a range of parkas, and wraps made with the distinctive wool produced since 1880.
Look at the show and tell me what you think:
A buyer attending the show would have had a real problem in selecting pieces from the collection. All of them are real winners and the palette made of oxblood red, dusk blue as well as natural hues has made the whole range easy to match with something already in your wardrobe.
I love this tartan suit with coat, a real classic with a twist. If I had space in my closet it  would be my next purchase.
This coat made with the characteristic wool by Steiff reminds me of a Mondrian painting inspired by the Autumn colours. It looks so snugly and warm and I 'm sure it is. Another piece on my wish list.

This parka' style dress with a tartan pattern is something that tickle my fancy. Perfect on its own with thick tights or over a pair of skinny trousers, it will be one of those garments worn during all season. Accessorising will change the style every single time.
