Manolo Blahnik SS17

Spring is finally here and today is very sunny. So I just wanted to write about colours and luxury and one of the most iconic brands, Manolo Blahnik. The Spanish designer has created shoes for many designers as well as having his own boutique. It has been with Sex And The City that everyone has discovered this luxury brand that before was familiar only with the jet set. The SS17 collection is to die for. Be prepared you are going to see quite a few pictures.
These Rinaldus sliders in python skin laminated in gold leaf are fantastic and very comfortable. The heel is only 1 cm high. Great with any outfit in your wardrobe, be a pair of jeans, a skirt or a formal dress.
The Ondina sandals are a homage to Zaha Hadid, the late architect and friend with Manolo Blahnik. The blue suede makes for a pair of shoes that will see you through the whole season. The block heel is 3 cm high, perfect to wear these shoes at work as well and all day.
I find the Czechflat model very sweet with the scallop detail and the pastel green colour. I've noticed that this collection has got lots of flats as well as high heels. They are only 1 cm high.
These pink patent leather Mary Jane flat shoes are named Scotapla. I love the perforated brogue details. They give a twist to any trousers suit.
The Cotis embroidered pumps are a work of art.The hourglass heel in pink is 10.5 cm high and match the trim and leather laces. These shoes are in silk and cotton with sole and lining in leather.

The Fernusan sling back sandals have got all the sparkle you can think of. With a 9 cm heel and crystal details, these satin sandals are timeless.
The Fiorda Mary Jane pumps are gorgeous with the 5 cm block heel that allows you to wear these shoes all day long without  suffer . I absolutely love the red heels and details in contrast with the white body of the pumps.
The Hangisiflat OPL model is an amazing flat with a jewelled buckle on the front. Manolo Blahnik took his inspiration from Napoleone, Paolina and Josephine Bonaparte. Its 1 cm heel makes it very comfortable. I could go on forever but you can look at  more shoes from Manolo Blahnik at the website www.manoloblahnik.com
