Preview AW18: Coats

It is still August, still summer but if you need to buy a new coat, you need to start researching now so that when the one you like will hit the rails you can dash to the shop or online and buy it before sizes run out. I've picked few nice coats for the coming season.
*Not Yet* I love this coat by J by Jasper Conran at Debenhams. The pattern and the colour are gorgeous, here paired with a suit from the same collection. The gemstones colour combination will be great on anything and also these are part of this coming season palette. Not yet in store but look for it. www.debenhams.com
*Not Yet* If you are looking for a classic style go for this Double breasted Alpaca coat by Jaeger. Its colour is a warm rusty orange  with black buttons  and slip pockets, which in  that shape are my favourite because you can keep  keys and Oyster card in there for quick use. It is one of those coat that will last  many seasons. www.jaeger.co.uk
*Not Yet* Everyone who knows me, knows that purple is my favourite colour, so you can imagine when I've seen this gorgeous belted coat by Jigsaw. Soft fabric, an amazing colour and spacious pockets. It is ticking all the boxes when looking for a new coat. And don't be intimidated by the colour. Purple  has been around for quite a long time.  www.jigsaw-online.com
*Not Yet*  Let's stay with these soft colours  and let's look at this tweed coat in a sweet pink hue by Joules. As you can notice this season  shows very practical  pockets where you can actually keep something in them.  Check it out in store or online so that you can grab one as soon as it will land in store. www.joules.com
*In Store*  This red flame coat from Kin by John Lewis has just arrived and with its cocooned shape will be a best seller one. It has big pockets and large open collar and it fastens with large press studs. It is the right coat that will energise you with its bright colour. www.johnlewis.com
*Not Yet* I just love this quilted coat by K-Way, the famous company that started  half a century ago, making foldable rainproof jackets. This coming season, sees a gorgeous range, not relegated only to the foldable emergency jacket  that everyone was using when travelling. This coat is an example of how the company evolved. The trademark zip is still there as a reminder of the iconic pac-a-mac from the mid 1960s.  www.k-way.co.uk
*In Store*  It is a classic this camel double breasted coat by M&S Collection for Marks & Spencer. Made of a wool blend, with slip pockets (you see? Again) and buttons at the sleeves and at the front. It is available in black as well and goes from size 6 to size 24.  www.marksandspencer.com
*Not Yet* With Phase Eight we've got another classic pattern and style with this Carmel Check  belted Trench coat in a  Prince of Wales check with slip pockets. It is not yet in store so keep an eye to the website in order to know when it will be delivered.  www.phase-eight.com
*Not Yet* The camel belted coat is one of those timeless styles that should be in your wardrobe as a staple. This belted wrap coat  by Peacocks is not yet available but needs to be put on your shopping list because between the beauty and the amazing price of this garment, it can't be missed. www.peacocks.co.uk
*Not Yet* This leopard print coat is going to be a sell out at Primark when it will hit the rails, so make sure to snatch one. Leopard print is another timeless trend that is always present every season. The orange background makes it very easy to match  with both warm or cold colours. www.primark.com
