Christmas Jumper Day

It looks like yesterday when I've written a post about Christmas Jumpers and now we are at it again, for a noble cause. The Christmas Jumper Day will be on the 14th of December, organised by Save the Children and on Friday the 14th all over UK, in offices, school or private events everyone will wear a Christmas Jumper to raise money for this charity. In fact you can ask for a fund raising pack at www.christmasjumperday.org   . As well as traditional ones, I've picked some jumpers for the more fashion conscious people. They are still with lurex and patterns quite festive, but they are more muted. There is something for everyone's taste.
This lovely jumper is by Cath Kidston and I love the tree made of giant sequins on a charcoal grey base. Go and grab one before it goes and sport it not  only for the CJ day but at home during the festive holidays. www.cathkidston.com

And here we've got a very traditional Christmas Jumper from George at Asda. The choice for adult jumpers is great with sizes catering from S to XXL in some of the models. Be quick to put one of them in your shopping trolley because the fantastic prices will make them coveted by many. www.direct.asda.com
I love the alpacas wearing a Christmas jumper  in this wool blend sweater by FatFace. I like the crew neck and the details at the cuffs and hem. It is machine washable and a bit different from the mainstream jumpers. www.fatface.com
If really you don't feel like wearing a proper Christmas Jumper but still want to be part of the  event, opt for this gorgeous lurex Fair Isle jumper from The White Company so that you can use it not just for Christmas Jumper Day. Made with a blend of alpaca, wool and other yarns, it is soft and very elegant. www.thewhitecompany.com
Just not leave the kids out of the fun, George at Asda has got some lovely Christmas jumpers for them, catering from newborn up to teenagers. This one is available from 1 year old kids up to 6. Santa Claus' beard is silver and the red nose is a cute pompom, while the hat is trimmed with fake fur. www.direct.asda.com
It is a tropical theme for the Christmas jumper from Next with the flamingo wearing a Santa hat.  Always looking for something different, this one is ticking all the boxes. It is made of 100% cotton and machine washable so very practical. www.next.co.uk
Buying this Christmas Jumper from White Stuff, you are going  to support two charities. The one  for the Christmas Jumper Day and then the profits from each sale go to White Stuff’s Foundation which supports all of the brand’s local shop charities across the country. It is made of a blend of  merino wool, alpaca and other yarns and it is machine washable. I love the details on the cuffs and hem, especially the little slits at the sides. www.whitestuff.com

This lurex jumper has got the  festive colours perfect for Christmas even if not depicting Santas or trees. You can find it in the aisles at Tesco from their clothing range F&F as well as more traditional ones for all the family. Pity you can't buy online anymore because many garments are so nice  that if you don't act quick they will be gone forever. www.tesco.com
This sweet Polar Bear jumper is by The White Company so it is another option for your kid to wear during the festive season and beyond. It is made of cotton and wool  with a nice feel and it is machine washable, so no worries about stains, it can be taken care at home. www.thewhitecompany.com
This Christmas jumper dress that looks like wrapping paper is from Next catered for 3 to 16 years old as well as for adults from size 6 to 22. Just add a pair of thick tights and  boots or flat shoes and the festive outfit is sorted. It is part of the "Just Like  Me " range where also a men version is available in blue. www.next.co.uk
Last but not least, Primark has joined forces with Make a Wish, the charity that helps to grant wishes for children and young people  with life threatening conditions. Head to Primark until the 1st of December and buy from  its extensive Christmas Jumpers collection to help not one charity but 2. www.primark.com
