Paperself Eyelashes New Collection

I've been asked to test a sample of the new Paperself Eyelashes and, knowing, and having been used this brand already I 've jumped at this opportunity. I've decided to wear my Polka Dot Eyelashes during the Regent Tweet day, a very exclusive blogger event, where I was sure my eyelashes would have been spotted and complimented. Yep I was right, since the start of the day I've been inundated by " I love your eyelashes, where are they from" etc etc.
Paperself is always looking for new designs for its eyelashes. All the collections are stunning and very eye catching (pun intended). The Polka Dot model are very sweet depicting little bows and beads. The packaging is lovely and the eyelashes are so long that it is possible to use them twice just cutting them in halves, unless you want to go for a full on eye. I worn mine starting at mid eye length.
Look how beautiful they are and despite being quite ornate they are very comfortable. I could wear my sunglasses, I could take picture with my professional camera and the Paperself eyelashes never came on my way preventing me to do such actions. No glue is included in the box, but having already used this brand I had some glue bought previously. I've preferred to use the creamy version rather than the liquid which is a bit tricky and if a drop falls on the intricate design of the eyelashes it is not very tidy.
It is possible to play around with Paperself eyelashes. Here there is a lovely example where the eyelashes have been cut in small sections and they've been applied at the corner of the eye and on the lower lashes. It is certainly a show stopper. Stockists in UK include Harvey Nichols, Urban Retreat in Harrods, the V & A Museum, Browns just to name a few or you can buy them online at Paperself website  where you can find the whole range available.

Regent Tweet 2013

Regent Tweet is a yearly event organised by Sister PR with the collaboration of most of the fantastic shops and restaurants in the Regent Street area for professional bloggers. Only a handful are selected every year to participate in this treasure hunt to the most beautiful shops with stops at great eateries, masterclasses in cocktails, cupcakes and sushi and talks by eminent people in fashion and art. Look at the video (psst I am at the 2.30 minute)

It is lovely to meet new bloggers and to see again people I've met at last edition. This year I went on my shopping expedition together with Sonia Figone, food blogger of .We've started brilliantly with a visit to Jaeger receiving a great coffee table book and £ 50.00 voucher only for the  first 50 bloggers which I'm going to use as soon as possible given that I've seen some great outfits in the shop

Our base camp was at The Living Room in Heddon Street where we collected our branded Regent Tweet canvas bag, our stack of cards to visit all the places on them and a bracelet that would have us recognised as Regent Tweetters. I've received lots of compliments for my beautiful "Polka Dots" eyelashes by Paperself  and off we left for the Bose demonstration of their new fab products on sound systems and we've been lucky to be the first 30 bloggers receiving a fantastic Nikon View NX 2 compact camera.
These gorgeous outfits are from Michael Kors store where just for being very fast we've received a great and useful passport holder in a bright green colour. At Ted Baker next door we've taken a picture of our favourite item and we've tweeted it in order to receive a purple goodie bag filled with fab gifts like a beautiful candle, a leather bound note book and a hip flask in its pouch.

I'm having a 60 seconds fix kit routine with lavender products at Crabtree & Evelyn. I've washed my hands with a fragrant hand wash, then this lovely girl used a scrub on my hands to remove dead cells and at the end I had some hand cream massaged on my hands and fingers. Bliss.
These new bottles were in the shop as a preview just for us bloggers during Regent Tweet. This new collection of Hand Wash in delicate fragrances will be in store from July. They are beautiful to look at as well as using them, a stylish addiction in your bathroom. The store manager Cristina made me swap my old hand cream I had in my bag for a new one from the Hand Therapy collection.
These bottles contain some fruit shots that are absolutely delicious. I loved the combination with apple and fennel but really they were all great, and the  Bircher muesli with fruits was divine with edible pansy flowers and a leaf of mint. All these at Tibits in Heddon Street where bloggers have been treated to a snack in the morning .

So many shops such a little time. Gilly Hicks and Hollister greeted us with some vouchers, which are going to be spent on their great products  . Superdry gave the opportunity to one blogger to be a guest writer on their blog as well as selecting an outfit from their range. I wasn't lucky but still I've left with a lovely gift. . At UGG Boots we've tweeted a picture of our favourite item and we've received a stylish luggage tag with their 1970's inspired print.
Masterclass cupcakes at Whole Foods Market Piccadilly. Ready to ice a chocolate cupcake with a two colour icing. I had breakfast with them, absolutely yummy . Cat Lyne is the founder of " Cat and the Cream" and she guided us through the process of icing a cupcake which we took home after that. . At Folli Follie Sonia and I had fun on the photo booth by Say Fromage,  taking home a nice picture as well as a goodie bag filled with treats.
At Toni & Guy I haven't been lucky enough to win a Quick Fix like my friend and fellow blogger Sonia, so I've waited while she had a 1960s inspired hairstyle and then both of us received a Label.m Resurrection Style Dust, perfect to give our hair a bit of structure and shine. . From there great lunch at Mash courtesy of Regent Tweet where Sonia had a rib eye steak and chips and I tucked in a vegetable linguine. The place is great and we went there at the end of the day for a celebration with all the other bloggers drinking cocktails and nibbling at delicious canapes.
This fabulous place is the East India Company in Conduit Street. Tea in several flavours as well as tea set in fine bone China for the best tea experience are sold in this opulent store as well as chocolate, biscuits, preserves, the best you can find for a royal afternoon tea. . We could sample some tea and we brought home a selection in a special packaging to taste. I love when I've got a selection of sample so I can have a shrewd idea of what I could buy next and the same kind of gift has been given to me at Penhaligon's where a tin box has been prepared for the bloggers with a selection of their best fragrances. I love Penhaligon's and I've got quite a few products from them
We've been treated to talks by expert at the Apple Store , in the morning with Susie Bubble gave important tips to bloggers, in the afternoon Damien Whitmore from the V & A Museum gave us a talk about fashion exhibitions, difference between art and fashion  and 5 bloggers who have tweeted a picture during this talk would have won a pair of tickets for the sold out exhibition about David Bowie. Well I've been among the lucky five. Our day has been filled with visits to stores, we styled  a mannequin at Sebago , we received a teddy bear and a mix and pick cup full of sweets at Hamley's and in the meantime we could check all the fabulous shops and make a mental note to visit again.
My lovely Regent Tweet bracelet matches perfectly my Tresor Paris skinny one . This bracelet was our "passport" to shops and eateries. Waving in a friendly manner our arms would have revealed the bracelet and the shop people would have known that we were there to sample and shop for their products with many of them giving an exclusive discount on the day. We had a bit of a rest at Aubaine  in Heddon Street sampling French puddings and flavoured bread
At home resting after emptying all the bags after a busy day in Regent Street, I had so much food during the day that I had dinner with the cupcakes I've decorated in the afternoon. This day has been amazing, I've seen friends, I've met new people and I've been spending my hours in one of the most sophisticated street in the world dotted with the best shops worldwide.

Tresor Paris New Collection

I fell in love with Tresor Paris jewellery since their beginning a couple of years ago, and yesterday I've been invited to the VIP Blogger event at their showroom in Hatton Garden which is the heart of the jewellery and diamond business. The room was bright and the light was caught by the millions of Czech crystals set in all the Tresor jewellery on display. The colours are absolutely delectable and I think that I know what I'm going to gift to myself for my birthday in the next 2 months.
This is part of the new collections and the colours chosen are just right up to my street. I mean lavender and purple, bracelets in all the models and the beautiful pendants and the earrings. I've seen a phone charm too which really match my purple Blackberry.

This collection of watches is stunning. Colourful and in different sizes. The small version is lovely for children, something like "The First Watch", resistant and at the same time stylish.

I could not resist and I've tried on those two fantastic bracelets, they are matching my Abitart dress, actually they match almost everything in my wardrobe.

This collection is the Spyral Crystals and all the jewellery has got sweet swirls as a pattern. As well as crystals some of the jewellery has got magnetite beads.

For this collection Tresor Paris has sourced the best coloured tiger's eye matched with magnetite beads and crystal beads. Look for your favourite colour and remember, tiger's eye is a stone that gives protection and prosperity while magnetite are believed to help recovering from lots of annoying things like asthma, cramps etc.
For a more rock and roll look we've got this series with studs and skulls. The studs are plated in rose gold or yellow gold and the skulls have got crystals set in the eye sockets.

This necklace is an absolute beauty. It is one of those statement pieces that on its own it will jazz up any outfit. Just wear it with a LBD or jeans and a black jumper for maximum effect.

I find this series with pearls and blush pink crystals perfect for a wedding or a gift for bridesmaids. Magnetite beads are a signature components for all the Tresor Paris jewellery, and for the earrings, the stud is in titanium so allergy free.
While salivating for all the beautiful pieces of jewellery on display, I've tucked in one of those yummy cupcakes all with the brand logo or the watches from the collection in a delicious edible fondant. I've never tasted such a light and sweet to a turn cupcake before.

The Union Jack Collection has got all the models in earrings, cross, bracelets ring and even the phone charm. Prices start from £ 14.00 and a bracelet can be bought for £ 39.00 which is very reasonable in price given the high quality of the product like crystals, the setting and finishing. A high quality product is recognisable from afar. Check the whole collection at

Bestseller PR Press Day Autumn Winter 2013

Bestseller PR has got among its clients some fantastic Danish brands. This season I've picked three of them out of its extensive catalogue, brands to keep in mind for a stylish look matched with a great price tag.
Junarose is dedicated to wearers of sizes between 42 to 54 giving fashion trends with a beautiful cut and fabrics just for more curvaceous women. All the garments are tailored and the cuts are flattering, with details and looks from the current season. This "Jasmine" top with "FiveNW" jeans are a perfect outfit for a night out matched with the "Linda" clutch bag. View their extensive collection and stockists at

Only has got a great collection this season with a rock chick look which is timeless. I love this long denim shirt paired with jeans and an amazing purple Mia Pu jacket. For the Autumn Winter season expect to see in store leather trousers biker jackets and tops with quotes. The palette range from blue, white, grey and black with the odd splash of colour. Prices are just as great as the collections. Check the website for more

Y.A.S. is another great label made with luxurious fabrics, modern lines, attention to details. Feminine yet quite edgy, the collection has got something for everyone and for every style. Being attracted to colours I've picked from their next season range this beautiful orange Henni jacket and rock inspired Elast gloves. For more info check

Princess Tam Tam Paris Lingerie and Homewear

The Parisian brand Princesse Tam Tam has got a lovely range of lingerie and homewear that made me stop during one of the many press days I've attended.
The palette for the next season comprises purple, red, green and laces are inserted in the lingerie sets in strategical places.
The model "Anoushka" is a lovely chemise in silk crepe de Chine available in this coral rose or blue colour. From the same model it is possible to buy the camisole and the short as well.
This pyjama in printed viscose/ silk satin is very luxurious. The model "Andrea" can be bought in ivory or "dramatic" red. The jacket has got a soft belt.
From the series "Anoushka" this beautiful lingerie set in satin matches the chemise in colours and model. The bra is available with the sift cup only in coral and the push up cup in both coral and blue. The briefs are either shorty or hipster bikini.

The model " Balloon" has got a lovely print on stretch crepe for this chemise, perfect for a weekend break or for a pyjama party, "Grease" style.

I love this pyjama, model "Boreal". It is in silk satin combined with viscose and cotton jersey edgings. In dark grey or strawberry it is hard to choose which one to buy...maybe both?  I really like the mixed prints polka dots and stripes.
"Frenchy" is another pyjama but I would use it to stay at home in comfort and style. In soft cotton fabric and flannelet it is perfect for those autumn evenings while relaxing with a cuppa and a good book or a DVD.

This delicious "Veruschka" lingerie set in printed crepe has got a delicate lace edging and a choice of two colours, this beautiful powder or printed black. Check more on

Karen Millen Autumn Winter 2013

I've been to Karen Millen Press Day and honestly I would have bought everything on display....well my wish list is quite full and a shopping spree in one of their store will be a must later this year. Red, grey and black are the colours will be wearing next season.
Leather jacket and a tartan skirt, I like this look, the furry collar gives warmth to the outfit and paired with ankle boots and very thick tights, this is going to be a winning look for the colder months.

Again the leather biker jacket is worn with a thick sweater and distressed jeans. Brogues are the right choice or if you want to give a more feminine look a pair of ankle boots are just fine as well.

I love this dress, it makes a perfect outfit for work. A big bag to keep all of our stuff much needed during the day, high boots with flat heels for great comfort and freedom to add some splash of colour with a silk scarf round the neck or  some costume jewellery.

This dress for the party season is gorgeous, the metallic mesh sleeves are beautiful for this nipped waist brocade number. No jewellery you only need a great clutch bag and shoes to die for.

I love this jacket with the brocade pattern and the colour is absolutely a beauty. It gives a new look to a pair of jeans and sweater. Nobody is going to be a wallpaper with this jacket on.
This faux fur coat is going to be the best seller for the next season. I love the patchwork camouflage pattern and the choice of colours that makes it perfect with anything in your wardrobe.

The Boutique Gallery at Jaeger

If you haven't been for a while at the Jaeger shop in Regent Street, do it now. As well as their fabulous collections, now on the 2nd floor a Boutique Gallery that hosts a selection of British designers has opened. The space is beautiful, relaxing and lively. The selection is very eclectic and all in the same wavelength of the Jaeger style, classy, well refined, and wearable.
These three lovely dresses are from the Jaeger Boutique collections, a lifestyle capsule collection perfect for every occasion from day wear to formal. In here it will be possible to find the perfect outfit for a wedding, a day at the races or for a new job interview.

I've spotted these beautiful scarves by Age Of Reason in occasion of a event dedicated to the Made in England. These amazing silk scarves are created by designer Ali Mapletoft who draws the designs using ink on watercolour paper and then they are printed on silk and hand finished. The prints are quite irreverent and colourful. I just love them.

Orla Kiely is another strong presence at the Jaeger Gallery Boutique. Her dresses are girly and with that vintage charm that never goes out of fashion. This patent leather clutches are fantastic with their ice cream colours and the big bow clasp.

Lara Bohinc has got this great selection of jewellery on display. The big neck piece is a show stopper and on its own it can jazz up anything from a white t-shirt and jeans to a LBD. I would not know what to buy, all the pieces are great and with an attention to details absolutely amazing. Real statement jewellery without the hefty price tag.,en_GB,sc.html
