The Italian Cultural Institute hosts “The Italian Collective London” at their magnificent venue at 39 Belgrave Square SW1X 8NX from 10am-6pm from the 14th to the 16th of September .
This event is dedicated to Italian designers and artists living in Great Britain, involved in the international fashion industry.
Over the three days of this exhibition, staged during London Fashion Week, the Institute will allow people to visit the exhibition.
There you will see the present and forthcoming collections for 2013 and awarding an opportunity to talk to the designers.
And mingle with Global press and buyers in their pursuit to find the next best thing for Spring/Summer 2013.

Antonello Tedde: is a designer from Sardinia and he creates a collection of luxury ethical handbags. His bags are inspired by drawings of his homeland and its surrounding scenery. Livia Firth is a big fan of his gorgeous handbags.
Antonello incorporates organic yarns and dyes that are extracted from Sardinian plants and flowers, and produces his bags, using traditional looms in Sardinian factories.

Carlotta Gherzi is a designer from Lombardia, she has had 9 runway shows during London Fashion Week, with her label “Carlotta Gherzi for Sado”. In this new venture Carlotta has produced a collection of leggings, after a very successful sell through on these items alone. Claudia Ligari: is a designer from Lombardia launched her label in 2011. Her style is very minimalist, architectural and her previous choices of colours were white and black in all their shades. Massimo Casagrande: is a designer from Veneto, he grew up between Venice and Johannesburg. Tutor at the Istituto Marangoni in London. Eva Cammarata: is a designer from Sicily, and has produced a collection of knitwear using ethical yarns made from milk. Her style is upbeat and colourful with two part story, one is knitwear, the other is a tailored and this is produced using organic cottons or silks. Giulio Mazzarini: is a Roman photographer, whose work has graced the pages of some of the chicest fashion magazines, from Marie Claire, Vanity Fair Italia, Elle Italia. Some of his photographic images on display, will be a first in UK and they will span fashion to art. http://www.gmazzarini.com/
Nico Didonna: Designer from Apulia, is true to his Italian roots, he selects his fabrics first and then he constructs his men and women’s wear collection around the flow of material. Every season Nico jersey dresses and shirts are teamed with tailored jackets and skirts, and these sit perfectly with his men's elegant silk shirts and jackets & coats in cashmere.
