Saint Valentine Post

Like it or not Saint Valentine's Day paints in pink everything, from shops, to restaurants and it is impossible to escape it, unless you hide in your flat from the 6th of January to the 15th of February. In  US Saint Valentine's day is more about any one we love, it could be our best friend, our children, while here is centred on couples, so who is single find it unbearable. I've found few ideas for gifts you might want or give to your girlfriends and even something  for yourself. After all you are the person that you love the most. Leave this page open on your computer and drop hints to your loved one.
This Memory Box is from Sainsbury's and I find it adorable. Great for keeping aside that postcard from your last week end away, or the Saint Valentine's card received or even one of the many Post-It you can find on the mirror in the morning. It is made of wood and it will store all your sweet memories together. www.sainsburys.co.uk
This is pampering all the way when you open up the Baylis & Harding Rose Prosecco Fragranced Ultimate Indulgence Set. This lovely box with pink scattered hearts design has got a Body Shower and matching Body Lotion in a festive and fragranced rose prosecco scent. Also a box of Bath Crystals for an indulgent  and relaxing bath and a sponge.  All the products are not tested on animals.
Find it on Amazon or at its website  www.baylisandharding.com
Saint Valentine's Day doesn't mean that we need to spend a huge amount of money. A small thought is priceless, especially when something we buy is going to be very well received. These three purses are by Caroline Gardner and I love their pop art design. From the small coin purse to the larger pouches where to carry make up or other small essentials in your bag daily, they will be cheaper than a bunch of flowers bought at the corner shop and they will last forever. www.carolinegardner.com
A Swarovski piece of jewellery is always a top gift and these bracelets by Christopher Kane for Atelier Swarovski are stunning. Choose between the single bolster bracelet or the double one in jet haematite colour or gold crystals. From the same collection look for the hoops earrings and the rings. www.swarovski.com
Lingerie is another classic when thinking about Saint Valentine's Day gift. But I won't pick a red or a pink one. This gorgeous floral designed lingerie set is  from the Forest Song collection by Freya. It is a beautiful long line bra with lace details that goes from C to H cup sizes. The briefs are gorgeous with the black lace details at the sides. With a choice of three bra styles and three briefs styles it will be easy to find something perfect. I would drop  my sizes in a conversation just so that they can sink.

Zatchels is not just satchels bags like the ones we used  in school. Its new range has got so many styles that they deserve to be discovered. This lovely clutch in red leather with a heart is perfect for this time of the year. It has a shoulder strap that can be detached so you can use it as a clutch or cross body bag.  www.zatchels.com
If for Saint Valentine you like red, hope for a nice Joyce Pyjama by Cyberjammies. Nothing is more lovely than spending the night at home with your loved one, having a nice dinner and then slip in this gorgeous cotton PJ with a beautiful tile print design. Check all the beautiful styles at www.cyberjammies.co.uk
If gemstones are  a favourite but still you want something unusual and for an everyday wear go and visit the new shop by Giovanni Raspini in South Molton Street in London or head to  his website in order to look at this gorgeous Milky Way Pendant in silver and labradorites. With a chain long 80 cm and the beautiful texture of the metal, this  piece of jewellery will be something to cherish forever. www.shop.giovanniraspini.com
And what about a single girl on Saint Valentine's Day ? I can suggest what I will do.  I will use my Baylis & Harding Rose Prosecco Fragranced Sock Set. I will lather my feet with this stunning foot lotion and then I will wear these extra soft socks for a bit of pampering and while sipping some Prosecco Rose I will watch " Barefoot in the Park " (pun intended), a delightful comedy with a gorgeous Robert Redford and a beautiful Jane Fonda. Pure bliss.  www.baylisandharding.com
