Christmas Tree Decors

Officially this is the week end when it is right to start decorating the house for Christmas. Some  start decking the Christmas tree on the 24th of December in time for midnight but many like to have the tree ready. Even if your tree has been set up, there is still time to add the final bauble or decoration. Or maybe you might like to add a new one each year. I've picked few lovely options around.
This amazing bauble from the National Gallery is inspired by the Bellini & Mantegna exhibition. The blue and bronze colour is very opulent and it is one of those baubles to keep.  By buying items at the National Gallery shop you will also help funding this excellent collection of art. www.nationalgallery.co.uk

An amazing green bauble from the Emerald Christmas range at John Lewis & Partners, with colours inspired by gemstones. This one is made of glass with a beaded band twirling around.  Add to your collection of Christmas decoration something new at  its incredible Christmas Shop on the 3rd floor. www.johnlewis.com
Cath Kidston has put the date on its collectible Snowy Sketchbook Dogs bauble. With the branded red ribbon and nice packaging it can be gifted as a Secret Santa or when visiting friends. Check more  decor options at www.cathkidston.com
This bauble contains a pair of socks with nice penguins on it. Just head to FatFace and stock on them to decorate your trees when organising a Christmas party so that your guests can leave with a nice present. Available for men  as well in a  choice of decors. www.fatface.com
It is part of the Woodland range at Sainsbury's the glass red bauble with the date on it. It can be the start of a tradition to buy a new bauble every year, a collection of dates and nice to give as a present for somebody who moved in a new place, or for the birth of a baby. www.sainsburys.co.uk
Unicorns being so popular this year, are a huge part on Christmas decorations. This lovely glass tree decor is by Paperchase with the white iridescent unicorn sporting a rainbow tail and mane.  Go before it sold out and add some magic to your tree. www.paperchase.com
This glittery star is by Asda and it will reflect the lights on your tree. Buy a selection of those and scatter them on branches where you will put fairy lights so that your Christmas tree will be double spectacular.  www.asda.com

Perfect for adding a snow factor to the  tree this Merry Christmas 2018 glass bauble with iridescent tinsel by Next. I like baubles with the date because there something to leave for our children and grand children and they will keep these tree ornaments like small treasures. www.next.co.uk
This lovely owl by Gisela Graham can be bought at very.co.uk and it made of blown glass and painted in bright colours, has got a jewel set at the centre of its head and feathery red hair. One of those tree decorations that will stay in the family. www.very.co.uk
It reminds me of those vintage Christmas cards this bauble with Santa Claus and Rudolph that you can find at Tesco. Next time you are there to stock on food walk down the Christmas decoration aisle and you will be amazed by how many nice options and great selection you will find. www.tesco.com
Add some Disney Wonderland with this Mickey Mouse sequin bauble at Primark. The selection of themed Christmas decorations is excellent and you can make a special Christmas tree for the kids' room with their favourite characters. www.primark.com
It is so elegant this ribbed glass bauble with German sparkling glitter by The White Company. It comes with a plush velvet ribbon and few  of those hanging on your tree for that special sparkle and festive atmosphere. www.thewhitecompany.com
These 6 Snowmen in an egg box by White Stuff are adorable. They are made of fabric with lovely details like wool  hats and scarves. Once the tree is down they just go back to sleep in their box until the following year. They are very vintage style with that feel of hand made at home decorations like in those past times. www.whitestuff.com
