Luisa Spagnoli Boutique in London

I've known the iconic Italian brand Luisa Spagnoli forever. When I was living in Italy it was one of my favourite shops where I could always find something beautiful and affordable. Finally the shop has opened in London at 171 Piccadilly on the 13th of October and I can assure you, the AW16 collection is to die for. I've  picked few of the many looks on offer, just a teaser , because the shop deserves a visit.
The collection is a homage to the United Kingdom with tartan, hound tooth, tweed patterns and it  caters for every woman of all ages and every walk of life. One of Luisa Spagnoli outfit will be perfect in a board room, in an office or political engagement and I wouldn't be surprised to spot the Duchess of Cambridge wearing the brand. This short wowen tartan jacket with 3/4 sleeves and gem button is a beauty, great with jeans or with a skirt or classic trouser for work. It is possible to match it with at above the knee skirt.
This boho style dress in viscose grab the 1970s trend perfectly. it is gathered at the waist so it can be styled with a thin belt in tan leather and here it is worn with a mink tricot waistcoat in real fur.
At Luisa Spagnoli you can find as well as clothing, bags, scarves, belts, costume jewellery and hats. A perfume has been created as well , very feminine with notes of  jasmine, orange blossom and Taif rose.
This stretch jacquard dress is the perfect canvas to play with colourful accessories, a bright jacket, sparkling jewellery, a statement bag, everything will be amazing in order to complement the look.
From work to party this is the dress to  be included in any wardrobe. The antithesis at the " I've got nothing to wear" moment.
Luisa Spagnoli loves colours and you will see the shop, elegant and sophisticated with rails dedicated to specific colours. I love this angora pullover with 3/4 length ruffles sleeves, teamed up with this tartan pattern boucle fabric skirt. The colour is just what we need during the cold grey months.
Luisa Spagnoli, in its collection has got a great range of formal dresses, perfect for a wedding. This floral dress with velvet belt reminds me of a look out of an Audrey Hepburn film. The style is timeless and the colour is very warm. That Christmas party is the perfect excuse to go and try it on.
For the very formal occasion this tulle embroidered dress is gorgeous and makes you feel like a princess. Straight neckline and not fussy in its design, given the silver sequins and embroidery, it will need only a pair of statement earrings and a clutch, maybe in a contrast colour.
I could post pictures over pictures but I want to whet your appetite not showing much so you can go to the website at to know the brand and its fascinating history and then go and visit the brand new shop at 171 Piccadilly W1J 9EH in London.
