Swatch Watches AW16

Swatch has been the first company to throw fun at watches, designing  colourful, affordable and stylish watches since 1983, introducing seasonal collections like a fashion house. They are actually a fashion house because they pick trends and they transport them on to their products.
The first watch is the Chesera model for lady in dark grey and white decor. Next to it there is the Chicken Run model for gent which I find great for lady as well. I would wear it because I like big watches and I adore the hounds tooth decor. The face has got the same print of the strap but a small detail, in the picture is pink but it comes up in yellow, blue or green at random.
If you are a collector of Swatch, the Uhrly model for gent has to be included in the collection. Taking inspiration from Switzerland  and the traditional cuckoo clocks, this is a piece that as well as working perfectly it can be put on a frame  mimicking the original cuckoo clock.
Still from the Swiss range the Edelblau for gent in blue and the Roetli for lady in red take inspiration from the traditional fabrics and embroideries typical from Switzerland that can be found in all the shops selling local crafts.
Being colours a characteristic of Swatch this Lillapop model with its blue dial, case and strap with pink print and orange loop is the right watch that goes with everything and it is great for both men and women and I dare say of all ages, depending when and where you wear it. The Me-How model with the hip hop style cat on the dial and white prints on the black strap is another collector piece and this one as well is a unisex model.
Two very colourful models for lady that get a round of applause. The Multi-Codes Swatch with orange dial and purple strap with printed stripes  bears my favourite colours while the Paseo De Gracia model reminds me of a 1970s prints that were used on crockery and stationary. Two nice watches that could be the beginning of a love affair between the Swatch house and a young girl.
Back to the gents with the Sir Dog model sporting a very sophisticated canine and with a blue strap inspired by the fabric of a tie or a man's dressing gown. This watch takes you to one of those townhouses, sitting in the library, sipping a scotch in front of a roaring fireplace, but here as well I don't find anything wrong if worn by a lady.
The Duck-Issime watch is another gent watch but here as well can be unisex. The duck printed on the dial and the checkered strap takes inspiration by the hunters' outfits worn while spending the weekend on the countryside at the family pile.
Let's finish with the Pink Cushion model in stainless steel strap rose gold plated and plastic case.
I love rose gold and I find this nuance of metal very flattering on the skin. It is a warm colour and very elegant. This watch definitely is a winner.
The Swatch collection is huge so I would suggest to go online at www.swatch.com so you can browse all the fantastic watches and buy them online as well as locating the store nearest to you in order to  immerse yourself in a very colourful environment.
