Preview AW17: Boots

Boots are a staple footwear and one item that generally we don't mind to spend a bit more than usual, because it is something that we wear through all the autumn and winter either with trousers or dresses or skirts. Try to keep a tab of how many times you wear your boots and you will be with me in thinking that you can invest a bit more money on them. I've seen many boots during my visits to Press launches and I've picked a few.
*In Store*  It  has an equestrian vibe the Taro boots by Dune. They are made of leather with an elasticated panel at the back and a nice metal buckle detail. This one is in burgundy colour but a black or tan version is also available. www.dunelondon.com
*In Store* The style is like a Chelsea Boots  in leather with elasticated panel at the side but the Lilie  Boots at Hobbs are knee high, with a 6.5cm heel and round toe and they are made in Italy at Hobbs own shoe factory. Great with any dress or skirt or with denim for a countryside look. www.hobbs.co.uk
*Not Yet* I find this pair of Boots by Jones  The Bootmaker absolutely gorgeous. They are made of suede with leather lining and insole in a beautiful navy colour and with a stretch panel at the back for a good fitting. Check for its arrival in store at www.jonesbootmaker.com
*In Store* Over the Knee boots are a big trend and I can understand that, given that they cover our knees keeping them warm when wearing a skirt or dress and you pair it with a pair of boots. It may seems a small thing but when you wear for the first time an over the knee pair of boots you won't go back wearing shorter ones. This Volt boot is by KG Kurt Geiger, made in leather with gold metal studs details. www.kurtgeiger.com
*Not Yet*  Among all these gorgeous boots a pair by Manolo Blahnik could not be missed. This Khomobi suede dark green boot are not yet available but a grey version is or a black velvet option. The heel is 10 cm high with goat skin lining and they are made in Italy. If you like  this colour check the website to know when they will land in store. www.manoloblahnik.com
