Nina Naustdal First Anniversary
Fashion Notes by Cris' style spy Stephen Mahoney on a new report of a glam and celebrity's night:
"Walton street was a real buzz, as Nina Naustdal celebrated her first anniversary party of her boutique opening at number 176.
This was a real glamourous event, with chauffeur-driven Maserati cars dropping off Nina's celebrity guests. Some of whom arrived wearing some of her latest collection and gave an added glitz to an already illuminating party.
Lauren Goodger, was dignified as she walked the red carpeted entrance, with paparazzi flashes popping.
As were Radio 2 early morning presenter Vanessa Feltz who came sailing in, arm in arm with her squeeze the strapping singer/songwriter Ben Ofoedu.
Inside Hofit Golan, was working the room armed with a mike and trailed by her camera man, getting her celebrity sound bites for Fashion TV.
As was Lizzie Cundy for OK TV, who was sporting one of Nina's couture bejewelled blue silk satin dress. Lizzie took time off filming to tell me "I've still haven't got over my birthday celebrations, that started last week at Nick Ede birthday bash at DSTRK the £25 million re-fit night club.
Lizzie looked a $million after a week of partying.
Almost as good as our host Nina.
Only for my money, Nina was the undisputed best dressed person of the night, in her own designs, a staggeringly, beautiful, dress and her equally dazzling fine jewels, as she weaved her way through the army of guests.
In the store's secluded back garden, the gorgeous TV presenter and model Amal Fashanu, was resting her fine form while sipping her Moet Champagne, Belvedere Vodka cocktail courtesy of Movida. Between sips, Amal told me she's sourcing fresh ideas for another TV program, after her successful documentary on her deceased Gay Uncle Justin Fashanu. Justin was one of the UK's footballer stars, who committed suicide from endless torment. With her good looks, I can’t see that finding new material being a problem? Can you!
While tucking into a delicious canapes, by fellow Walton street, successful entrepreneur Jak's, I spied Preeya Kaledas, actress rocking up one of Nina's second line diamond printed dresses a snip at £516, a frock her character Amira Masood in Eastenders could only dream about.
From one dream to another Prince Cassius, looking dapper in a Selected Homme white jacket. Cassius bent my ear about his endless options and interviews he's been having to do more TV and I for one, can see this charming fellow hosting his very own talk show.
In mid sentence, both of our attention was drawn, to the sight of the magnificent celebratory cake, that even the HRH hairdresser Ian Carmichael eye's feasted on.
After I'd eaten my slice of cake, I gave Nina a farewell peck on the cheek and her PR Dee Vesali.
At the exit, Dee thrust into my hand a goodie bag filled with Elemis travel kit products and I left with my new party pal Karolina Kivimaki contributing editor to Lake Como Lifestyle magazine.
