Festival Time
And we are at that time of the year where music festivals are popping out all over the country. Sadly this year Glasto won't be on but there are so many others to attend and many are in London so if you live there, you won't need to pack a tent or rucksack and be as stylish as ever. I've picked a selection of items comprising beauty as well to see you through the musical events.
The first thing to have when going to a festival is a rucksack. Not everyone will camp if attending one day only but a rucksack will be vital to store a jumper, a pair of wellies, a bottle of water and all the essentials needed for a day out. These two beauties are by Osprey Europe, specialised in backpacks full of features useful when travelling. Among their features we've got a ventilated back system so it won't be uncomfortable in warm weather. Check stockists at www.ospreyeurope.com
Another staple for a festival is a pair of flip flops. Choose among the great selection that Reef offers. From vegan, to plain, to colourful and detailed flip flops you will find exactly what you need for partying and dancing. www.reef.com
Be bright and stylish with cut off denim shorts embellished and a top. The best place to look at is Peacocks with its huge range and selection of colours and styles. Go for a boho blouse or maybe a top or also a floating dress to channel your rock chick alter ego. www.peacocks.co.uk
If camping or just attending the festival for one day, always have a pack of wet wipes with you. These one by Burt's Bees are great because 99.1% natural and without "nasties" like parabens or petrolatum. There is no need to rinse after using them so perfect for an outdoor event. Just remember to dispose them in rubbish bins. www.burtsbees.co.uk
Stock up on sunglasses at Primark. Their incredible prices as well as quality will tempt you to buy a handful of them and enjoy a careless music festival without worrying if they drop on the floor or you have a pair stolen. Change you look by just changing a pair. www.primark.com
A music festival is not a real one without mud and rain, so remember to pack a pair of wellingtons. These two are from the new Hunter' s Boots collection. Available in two styles, short and tall, they are fully waterproof, a not slip rubber sole and polyester lining. I like the floral pattern on these two, and in order to avoid blisters pack a pair of socks. www.hunterboots.com
If a rucksack is vital, a bumbag is an essential part of going to a festival. It is safe to keep a mobile phone, keys, money and all those little items that you need at hand. This silver quilted one is by Accessorize and it has two zip compartments. Wear it either as a cross body or at your waist. www.uk.accessorize.com

This gorgeous purple Juice Power Station can be found at Halfords and you can choose a bright orange colour as well. It can charge two devices at once and it comes with a carry pouch for safekeeping. www.halfords.com

Cut on disposable plastic bottles by taking with you a S'well bottle, made of stainless steel vacuum insulated and available in a great selection of patterns from plain block colours to graphic designs. A S'well bottle keeps a drink cold for 24 hours and hot for 12 hours and I can positively say that this statement is true having one of these bottles always in my bag. www.swellbottle.com
