13th of December 2019 Christmas Jumper Day

Christmas Jumper Day has become a traditional fixture  here in UK and since 2012 on a specific Friday in December everywhere in offices, schools, shops, people have been wearing Christmas Jumpers to raise funds for Save the Children, with a minimum of £ 1.00 donated for each jumper wearer. This year it will be on the 13st of December. All the high street stores are selling now these cheerful sweaters  and the funnier the better. I have picked few items so you have time to go and buy it in order to be ready for this fund raising event. www.savethechildren.org.uk
I love the T Rex entangled in Christmas lights by the Natural History Museum shop. There are both kids and adult versions. Remember that every time you buy an item form a Museum shop you support the museum and you keep it free of charge for all visitors to admire the amazing collections on display. www.nhmshop.co.uk
It is so lovely and sparkly the bejewelled Rudolph Christmas Jumper by F&F for Tesco. Sequins and beads are stitched  together to create a red nose reindeer on a light grey background. Check your local Tesco to find this one and more options to wear during the festive season. www.tesco.com
Tongue in cheek writings for Christmas Jumpers are always very funny and this one by Next is great. The fabric is soft thanks to a hint of alpaca wool, with elasticated cuffs and round neck, has got festive colours on a grey background. Also it can be washed in the washing machine. www.next.co.uk

Bright and funny the JD Williams "Twist and Sprout" Christmas jumper. Machine washable depicting the loved/hated Brussels Sprouts all in a festive mood. I must admit that I have never seen Brussels Sprouts on Christmas jumpers, so it is a novelty. www.jdwilliams.co.uk

Not the usual Christmas jumper because even if you want to contribute to the cause maybe you prefer something different. Tu Clothing at Sainsbury's has thought of that with this sequined black Christmas jumper with gemstones coloured sequins on the front. It is machine washable, just remember to put it in the washing machine on reverse so the sequins will be protected. www.tuclothing.sainsburys.co.uk
George at Asda has a huge selection of Christmas jumpers and it has been hard to choose one for this feature. As you can see from the trend, most Christmas jumpers have a grey background focusing on the image and this one has a festive little dog with 3D pompoms and sequins. Grab one before it goes. www.direct.asda.com
Let's think of the little ones with this gorgeous jumper by The White Company  that goes for kids up to 5 years (actually it was up to 6 but it has sold out already). It is made of 100% soft cotton  with a nice snowman inside a star. It is machine washable, very handy given all the sweets that will be consumed during the festive period. www.thewhitecompany.com
Now let's think about men and this zip neck Christmas jumper by Next will be perfect even for the shyest man in the world. It is not "loud" but at the same time is very festive with reindeer and the red stars. Machine washable, is made in acrylic and 15% wool. www.next.co.uk

Slogan Christmas jumpers are always funny and this one by Dorothy Perkins sums up our feeling during this season where we are a bit indulgent with ourselves. On a neutral grey, stitched sequins declare that " Christmas calories don't count" and it's right. Machine washable just remember to reverse it before putting it in the washing machine. www.dorothyperkins.com
Another look for men, this brighter Christmas jumper by F&F for Tesco. Christmas trees and other festive ornaments are depicted in this knitwear that will be perfect for the Christmas Jumper Day. Check for your nearest store and snap one quick. www.tesco.com

Let's finish with something for our pets. Aldi has prepared some dog coats matching the Christmas jumper collection for men, women and kids. Great for who can bring a pet at work and be the mascot for the day. All the Christmas Jumpers collection at Aldi will be available to buy online from the 24th of November and in store from the 28th of November. www.aldi.co.uk
