Kristian Aadnevik Spring Summer Collection
The Athenaeum Club in Pall Mall has been the grand frame for the Kristian Aadnevik catwalk during London Fashion Week. The collection has been inspired by the humble moth that from a cocoon it will transform in a creature of the night in its very brief life. The moth is very fragile and also the fabrics used for the collection are printed chiffon with crystals in contrast with the hardness of the cocoon here symbolised by the studded leather details.
The show is set in this high ceiling library at the Athenaeum Club, among shelves laden with books and a marble fireplace at the end of the room.
The shoes for the catwalk have been provided by Karen El-Khazen with her signature Karen K footwear sky high and with a crystal set on the sole.
Lots of VIP at Kristian Aadnevik show. Pandemonia was among them as well as Lady Victoria Hervey, singer and songwriter Laura Comfort and fashion and beauty photographer Indira Cesarine.
Backstage in another library two models still in their show outfits are posing for me while on the background it is possible to see conceptual artist Pandemonia being interviewed by Hofit Golan for Fashion TV.
