Radiator PR Press Day a Treasure Chest of Cool Brands
These days are very busy because the Spring Summer Collections are presented to the press so many PR offices are open in order to view the latest trends. A visit to Radiator PR made me write a Christmas wish list quite long. I know that the collections are for next year, nevertheless I've pencilled my list for some serious shopping. www.radiatorpr.com
Daines & Hathaway is a British Heritage brand and I like to support local manufacturers with a history. Established in Walsall near Birmingham in 1922 with 90 years experience in working the finest leather, Daines & Hathaway has come up with a bright collections where the classic styles have been given a makeover with new colours. The satchels are beautiful and the iPad covers are the perfect items for a great gift. Born as a men' brand, Daines & Hathaway has introduced colours and softer lines for its female customers. www.dainesandhathaway.com
WeSC presented a men collection with classic pieces reworked to give them a twist. Prints play a very important role in its shirts and I find the footwear absolutely fantastic, I would not mind to wear some of their shoes. Loving colours and especially orange and purple I've stopped in front of their iconic headphone in great ice cream colours. The purple one is obviously on my list. Just head to their flagship store in Carnaby Street for the current collection, which is perfect for the Holiday season ahead and to be informed when the Spring Summer collection will land on their rails. www.wesc.com
Another slice of British heritage with these Gola Liberty Art Fabric collection. Trainers are something that are in every wardrobe. Even the woman who wears just high heels will have a pair of trainers for the gym or for a walk in the park. Gola which is famous for its trainers picked three iconic Liberty fabric from the department store's archive and it used them on three of its models. The result is an exclusive collection with trainers supplied with satin ribbon lace and an alternative cotton lace in the same colour and they will be available from Spring 2013. At their Carnaby Street store and all the other points of sale it will be possible to admire this new collection and chose the perfect style and colour. www.gola.co.uk
The Jewellery Channel has got a huge selection of jewellery and accessories that go from £ 5 to £ 5,500. Silver jewellery, diamodn gold jewellery, watches, and vintage inspired clutches, really there is something for everyone and for every taste. It is not difficult when there is a range of over 16,000 products on offer. Those two drip drop necklaces designed by Lucy Q are absolutely stunning and they will jazz up any outfit from a LBD to just a black rollneck and jeans. www.tjc.co.uk
The best brand of Britain at Radiator PR and Puffa is another label with decades of experience, precisely, next year it will be the 40th anniversary. Established in 1973 Puffa has kept warm every stylish British around. Penny Rogers, the creator of the brand has been inspired by the quilted jackets seen during her travels to Canada and the United States. Starter Black Label is an American brand established in 1971 and its style has changed the way of mixing sports clothing with the everyday wear. Its association with professional sportsmen, college leagues and Olympic Sports has made Starter THE brand for everything related about sport. Its new range is very colourful with a glance to the American heritage as Native American patterns and leather inserts that are inspired by the Wild West. Snapback caps in bright colours and with the brand logo will be a favourite for any hip youngster. www.starterblacklabel.co.uk
Barts is a Dutch company specialised in winter accessories. For this season collection the inspiration is taken from the Native American patterns. Fabrics are soft, the use of faux fur enriches gloves, hats and boots. Angora and cashmere wool makes you feel snug and warm. For the first time legwarmers are included in the collections. I love the earmuffs in fur and the kids range is so sweet, keeping the children warm while playing outside. With its sporty roots, Barts is still producing a great range of wintersport wear like gloves and mask in order to be stylish on the slopes as well. www.barts.eu
