Geox Spring Summer Collection
Geox is a high quality Italian shoe brand. It has been around for decades and it is known for its "shoe that breathes" which in a few words is the way these shoes are manufactured using materials and a sole that lets the air circulate inside the shoes avoiding sweat and damp socks at the end of the day. The new collection is full of colours with the addition of accessorises and apparel.
This model is one of my favourites because purple is involved of course. The chunky heel makes the shoe very comfortable and the contrasting yellow colour is fantastic. A pair of shoes like these will see you through all the spring and summer months.
These plimsolls are great with the sequins and the golden shoe laces. With this kind of shoes it is possible to discover the benefits of a Geox footwear that leaves your feet dry. Plimsolls are among the type of shoes I always wear and with these, it will be possible to glam up a pair of jeans if caught with a unexpected party to go to.
These ankle boots with floral printed leather are beautiful. Perfect for our rainy spring and great with trousers or dresses. I love the style that reminds me of a Renaissance painting. The heel is chunky in order to give stability given that we are out most of the day and we don't want to feel pain when back home.
This bag is part of the Geox Camotartan by Yong Bae Seok, a Korean designer who entered a collaboration with the Italian brand for the Spring Summer Collection. Camouflage is very on trend next season as the tartan, so why not combining both trends in one design? From what I can see it has been done in an excellent way.
Another superstar collaboration between Geox and Patrick Cox where a collection of colourful shoes will grace the windows of the stand alone shops and concessions all over the world. Great trainers with fantastic colours. From the Geox collection it would be hard for me to choose a pair of shoes because I would buy them all.
Another model from the Patrick Cox for Geox, these two beautiful wedges sandals with the pony skin wedge and the insole in a contrasting and shocking colours. It has to be remembered the Geox technology with the micro pores membrane inside the Geox perforated rubber sole so it manage the humidity and sweat leaving the feet dry.
Lovely pumps from the Donna Dionisa line at Geox. The colours are the ones that will be everywhere next season and the comfort will be amazing. You will feel like you are wearing a pair of slippers. I've seen pumps from one of the most coveted brands in the world and apart from a eye watering price tag, the discomfort of an inside with no padding at all made me be more cautious when buying shoes. Geox are comfortable, lovely and they've got real value for money.
Let's finish with some Geox apparel where the jackets as well as delicious colours have got a waterproof, breathable and windproof membrane. The jeans DressDry are part of a collaboration between Geox and ISKO an expert in denim technology where the cloth has been treated to contains perspiration and it dries up faster than untreated cotton.
