Aquascutum New Shop
Aquascutum, the iconic brand founded in 1851 making raincoats for the British weather and to cater for the trenches during the Great War has opened a new beautiful shop at 24 Great Marlborough Street W1F 7HU. The shop looks like a townhouse to keep in style with the heritage of the brand.
Aquascutum trench coats have been worn virtually by everybody. War heroes, intellectuals, actors and celebrities. The quintessentially British style is reflected in the designs and the famous blue and camel check. The same pattern has been recreated for this gorgeous trench coat from the womenswear collection designed by Andre Hackett.
Christmas time and here we've got a nice selection of gifts. One is never wrong when presenting an Aquascutum blue gift bag with its arm and coats depicted. Small leather goods like wallet, purses and umbrellas in all the sizes to store in the handbag or traditional for when the rain is violent, will always be a great idea for a gift. We've never got enough of these accessorises.
This trench coat is a beauty, with the design inspired by the original coats but we the added quilted fabric at the side. The chocolate colour is very sophisticated. This is one statement garment that will be forever in your wardrobe.
Handbags are the right gift that every woman will be happy to receive, even if the bags at home are over 100. A new bag is always welcome. Aquascutum has got some great bags on display, enough to store all our belongings leaving some space for the matching purse.
Aquascutum was born as a menswear brand and at the reins of the creative department, the designer Thomas Harvey has been called in order to give a new twist on this iconic brand. Great gifts for men as well on the first floor of this magnificent new shop in the heart of the West End.
A great selection of ties for a stylish gift. Ties are for men what handbags are for women, they are never enough. The first floor at Aquascutum looks like a members only club, a man shopping there will feel confident, because we know that men generally hate shopping. The sophisticated atmosphere on the first floor and knowledgeable sales persons will help making the right purchase.
